On the outskirts of Ripley take A610 towards Ambergate/Belper/Matlock. At the junction with A6 (Ambergate railway station), head towards Belper. Once in Belper, turn off Bridge Street (A6) into Derwent Street. The Centre is at the bottom of Derwent Street on the left. M1 from the South: leave M1 at J25. Take A52 towards Derby. A14/M1 from the East: from A14 join M1 at J19 (this is a restricted access junction) heading north. Leave M1 at J25. Take A52 towards Derby. At Pentagon island follow signs for A6 Duffield/Belper (approx 9 miles). Once in Belper, turn off Bridge Street (A6) into Derwent Street. The Centre is at the bottom of Derwent Street on the left. M5 from the West: from M5 join M42 at J4a, skirting Birmingham. After Tamworth this motorway becomes A42(M). A42(M) joins M1 at J23a heading north. Leave M1 at J25. Take A52 towards Derby. At Pentagon island follow signs for A6 Duffield/Belper (approx 9 miles). Once in Belper, turn off Bridge Street (A6) into Derwent Street. The Centre is at the bottom of Derwent Street on the left. M6 from the West: leave M6 at J15, taking A500 towards Stoke-on-Trent. Before reaching Stoke, take A50 heading towards Uttoxeter and Derby. Leave A50 at J4 and take A38 heading towards Derby. At Allestree (just north of Derby) take left hand fork A6 heading for Duffield/Belper. Once in Belper, turn off Bridge Street (A6) into Derwent Street. The Centre is at the bottom of Derwent Street on the left. By Train East Midlands Trains operates an extensive train service network, covering London St. Pancras, Leicester, Derby, Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester, Crewe and Norwich. For Belper change at Derby. Please note that there is no taxi rank at Belper station, nor are there toilets. Belper Station is about a 5 minute walk from the Centre. From the station, turn left onto Field Lane and at the top turn left on to Bridge Street. Derwent Street is the third road on the right. By Bus National Express runs buses which stop in Belper. Trentbarton buses (local bus service): The 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4 services all run between Derby (Full Street) and Belper, with a journey time of approximately half an hour. The 6x also serves this route, but goes round the Belper estates before reaching the town. This journey takes approximately 40 mins. The Bus Station is approximately a 5 minute walk from the Centre.
